Penn State to host academy for blind, visually impaired high school students

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — The Summer Academy for Students who are Blind or Visually Impaired is a three-week intensive program held on the University Park campus. The academy focuses on enhancing independence skills for students transitioning to postsecondary education and is available at no cost to eligible high school students who anticipate attending college or technical/trade school after graduation.
