Call for Proposals

We are seeking presentations from Big Ten institutions that showcase real, implemented work led by facilities and operations teams, often in collaboration with campus AI and data offices. This conference is not focused on theory, vendor demonstrations, or future concepts. Instead, it highlights practical applications, lessons learned, and outcomes that peers can learn from and apply at their own institutions.

Proposal submission deadline: July 31, 2026

Strong submissions typically include:

  • A clear facilities or operational challenge that mattered to students, safety, or campus reliability
  • How data, analytics, or AI were applied in a real campus environment
  • Collaboration between facilities, operations, IT/OT, and AI or data teams
  • Consideration of governance, security, and responsible AI use
  • Measurable outcomes, impact, or operational improvements
  • Honest lessons learned, including challenges and tradeoffs

Special Requirements or Considerations

If you would like to propose a panel, workshop, or special session format, or if there are specific requirements the planning committee should consider, please include that information with your submission or email it to Penn State Education Program Manager Sara Bamat at szf5405@psu.edu.
