Colby joined Conferences and Institutes in September 2022, bringing extensive hospitality, planning, and management experience to the team. After a career in fine dining management that took her across the United States, Colby moved back to her hometown of State College in 2015 to pivot into event planning. She has worked in various event planning, event marketing, and educational program planning roles at the University since then. Her goal for every event is to create a memorable and meaningful guest experience through personalized audience engagement, superior customer service, and excellent food and beverage. In her spare time, Colby enjoys volunteering in the community and entertaining friends at her home in the heart of beautiful Victorian Bellefonte.
